'GTA 5' PC Release Date Next Month: Preorder Game For $47

“Grand Theft Auto 5” is coming to the PC in April, and Green Man Gaming is offering Rockstar’s action-adventure game for $46.79.

In late February, developer Rockstar announced that the PC version of its open world title had been delayed again. The game will reach players on April 14 at retail stores or as a digital download.

In December, rumors regarding Rockstar delaying its upcoming release of “Grand Theft Auto 5” for the PC, which was originally scheduled for Jan. 27, swirled when the action-adventure game’s Steam listing release date changed from Jan. 27 to “early 2015.” Rockstar responded to the situation on one of its online forums, assuring players the game would be available on the original date. However, the release date was changed to March 24 in mid-January, disappointing PC fans.

“Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible,” Rockstar said on its blog in February.

The deal is available through Green Man Gaming’s VIP section, which users can sign up for at no cost.

GTA 5 Ships 45 Million Copies, Including 10 Million On Xbox One And PS4

Grand Theft Auto V, the acclaimed open-world game from Rockstar, has now shipped more than 45 million copies worldwide to date, including 10 million on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game is likely to grow further still, as the PC release is scheduled for March.

GTA V's parent publisher, Take-Two Interactive, announced the new shipment tally on Tuesday as part of the company's earnings report for the quarter ended December 31.

Originally released in September 2013, GTA V is now available for a total of four platforms: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. Following two delays, the PC edition of GTA V will launch on March 24, 2015.

Another Take-Two game hit a new shipment milestone last quarter. Professional basketball game NBA 2K15 has now shipped 5.5 million units, Take-Two said. In addition, the publisher said the Sid Meier's Civilization series has now reached 29 million total units shipped, while the Borderlands series has climbed to around 23 million units to date.

In terms of Take-Two's financials, the company saw revenue and profit rise year-over-year. Revenue jumped to $954 million, compared to $767.7 million last year. Meanwhile, Take-Two saw its net income rise slightly to $211.6 million, compared to $210.7 million last year.

The largest contributors to Take-Two's net revenue for the quarter were GTA V and GTA Online, as well as NBA 2K15, WWE 2K15, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth.

Take-Two's net revenue from digitally delivered content, an increasingly important part of the company's business, grew 64 percent year-over-year to $217.2 million. The most meaningful contributors in this area were GTA games, NBA 2K15, the Borderlands franchise overall, and Civilization: Beyond Earth.

Another new area of Take-Two's business, which it calls "recurrent consumer spending," posted year-over-year gains. Sales for things like virtual currency and DLC jumped 64 percent to $217.2 million, led by offerings for the GTA and Borderlands series, as well as NBA 2K15 and Civilization: Beyond Earth.

In all, recurrent consumer spending made up 36 percent of net revenue from digitally delivered content, representing a 23 percent year-over-year increase. Finally, Take-Two catalog sales totaled $103.7 million of total net revenue, led by GTA games and Borderlands 2.

Looking ahead, Take-Two has a number of marquee titles in the works, including Evolve (February 10), the PC version of GTA V (March 24), and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (March 24).

"With our world-class creative teams, robust development pipeline, cutting-edge technology, and ample capital resources, Take-Two is superbly positioned to build on its solid foundation and continue to capitalize on this dynamic entertainment market," Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said in a statement.

Take-Two is currently holding an earnings call to discuss these results and answer analyst questions. Check back later for more.

'GTA 5' PC Release Date This Fall: Some Of Our Favorite Mods So Far

“Grand Theft Auto 5” will launch for the PS4, Xbox One and PC sometime during the third or fourth quarter this year, and players are especially looking forward to the PC version of the title for the ability to easily add mods.

Mods are modifications of program code inputted into a game to make it operate in a different way from its original version. Currently, players are creating mods of their own for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the action adventure title, but “GTA 5’s” upcoming PC version will make modding the game even easier.

Check out some popular “GTA 5” mods below:

New York City-based developer Rockstar assured fans the game's next-gen and PC release would be worth the wait. Besides mods, the updated versions will allow players to see the game's fictional city of Los Santos in a whole new way.

“'Grand Theft Auto V’ will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail,” the developer said on the Rockstar Newsire earlier this month. “Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.”

In its Steam listing, Rockstar assured fans the PC version "will take full advantage of the power of PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements including increased resolution and graphical detail, denser traffic, greater draw distances, upgraded AI, new wildlife, and advanced weather and damage effects for the ultimate open world experience.”

“Grand Theft Auto V" launched in October for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and is an open world action game developed by Scotland-based Rockstar North and published by NYC-based Rockstar Games. “GTA V” received highly favorable reviews and was the 15th installment in the “GTA” series and the first game since 2008’s “GTA IV.” The Spike Video Game Awards gave the title the Most Anticipated Game award in 2012. Following its release, the game received the Game of the Year award at the 2013 Golden Joystick Awards. Only three days following its release, IGN listed “GTA V” as second on its list of “Top 25 Xbox 360 Games.”

Within just 24 hours of its release, “GTA V” generated more than $800 million in revenue, which equates to selling around 11.21 million copies. Three days after its release, the title had surpassed $1 billion in sales. By Oct. 7, nearly one month after the game’s Sept. 17 release date, “GTA V” became the largest digital release in the PlayStation Store for the PS3. The game also received a score of 8/10 on Gamespot.com.

GTA 5: PC, Xbox One, PS4 ‘GTA V’ Versions to Get Enhancements Over Xbox 360, PS3

“Grand Theft Auto V” was announced for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC more than a week ago–a year after it was released.

According to a report this week, it won’t be the exact same game, with Rockstar giving a few hints.

“Grand Theft Auto V for PC will take full advantage of the power of PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements including increased resolution and graphical detail, denser traffic, greater draw distances, upgraded AI, new wildlife, and advanced weather and damage effects for the ultimate open world experience,” the company said, according to Forbes magazine.

Rockstar said it will provide more depth, including better detail and atmospheric effects than the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

“The biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world ever created and now packed with layers of new detail, Grand Theft Auto V blends storytelling and gameplay in new ways as players repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game’s three lead characters, playing all sides of the game’s interwoven story,” the firm said.

And according to “Metal Gear Solid” director Hideo Kojima, the visuals for “Grand Theft Auto V” on the PS4 appear to be impressive.

“What Rockstar has created and the world they have created is super impressive, and actually when I saw the PS4 version a few days ago I got depressed again. And this is not game design-related, it’s just me. The quality that they showed in the PS4 trailer was really impressive,” he told CVG.

The wait is finally over! During the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles last week, video game developer Rockstar announced action-adventure title “Grand Theft Auto 5” would be heading to the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime during the third or fourth quarter in 2014.

The New York City-based developer promised some new game improvements for “GTA 5” on the PC, including new wildlife and advanced weather and damage effects for “the ultimate open world experience.”

The game’s Steam listing also claims “GTA 5” will have “layers of new detail” and will include the title’s online mode “Grand Theft Auto Online.” Players will also be able to transfer their current progress to the PC, Xbox One and PS4 version of the game.

All new content and gameplay created and released since the launch of ‘Grand Theft Auto Online’ including new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available in ‘Grand Theft Auto Online’ for PC. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their ‘Grand Theft Auto Online’ characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation®4, Xbox One or PC.

GTA 5 PC and Next-gen: Complete Feature Changes Revealed for San Andreas in Re-mastered Edition

With Rockstar has confirmed the arrival of GTA 5 re-mastered edition for PC and next-gen consoles, some discerning gamers have unearthed a bunch of hidden feature changes in San Andreas for the next-gen release.

The list of changes includes new eco-systems, new wild-life and impressive level of detail with game world, NPCs and in-game elements, as avid fans of GTA have tried exploring the wilderness of San Andreas' countryside, according to a recent report by Movie Pilot.

One glance at the new gameplay trailer for PS4 confirms that the visuals and game world details are breathtakingly impressive, given the new wild-life additions including sharks, snakes, bees, buffalo, puma, elk, rats, and monkeys among several others.

One might visualise GTA 5 as a clone of several games with diverse gameplay elements borrowed from cross-platform FPS and racing games such as Max Payne, Far Cry, Need for Speed, Driver and more.

Unlike previous iterations in the Grand Theft Auto series, GTA 5 brings diverse playable characters with the ability to switch back and forth as the story unfolds in single-player mode.

This boosts the replay value of the game and adds a welcome change of pace unlike the linear playthroughs we see in other action games.

Besides, every playable character portrays a mind of its own to think with conscience and react about the consequences.

The NPCs in the game also react on every action you take such as complimenting you on your purchase and asking you about how things went by in a job interview.

If you are frequently robbing the same store, you will see the cops on a high alert and waiting for you to show up. Besides, NPCs give attention to minute details such as helping an injured cop or a fellow buddy in distress.

With the re-mastered edition, you will likely see more refined gameplay elements along with better scope for minute details that make the game more realistic and enjoyable.

For instance, gamers will notice high-density traffic and revamped car interiors such as speedometer and rev counter dials, dashboard, console and more.

Take a look at the PS3 and PS4 trailer comparison to get a hang of what's in store with the upcoming re-mastered release of GTA 5:

GTA V: Minimum and recommended system requirements for PC

A common question which arises in the mind of the gamers playing the new GTA 5 is, what are the expected minimum GTA 5 system requirements for PC?

Well, the answer is here.

First of all the rage/euphoria engine. The physics engine used for the latest version is the same as what was used in the previous ones, only with some alterations and improvements. GTA IV was not as good optimized as expected but Rockstar Games surely learned from the issues that appeared and the expected PC port will run a lot smoother.

The other factor is to be aware of the commercial thing and they need to sell a lot of copies. Taking this as a basement, the game needs to be created for the big part of gamers and their PC’s. Not every computer can handle new games with unlimited HD graphics. So they could make a game with much higher quality only if the targeted audience would have high end PC’s.
GTA 5 Minimum System Requirements for PC

1. Operating System: Windows Vista, 7 or 8

2. CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or similar

3. RAM: 3 GB

4. Hard Disk: 20 GB free space

5. Graphic Card: 512 MB Dedicated Memory

6. Sound Card: DirectX 9 Compatible

7. Supported Graphics Cards: Nvidia 9600 or ATI 4890 and up
Recommended System Requirements

1. CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 3.66GHz or equivalent AMD

2. RAM: 4 GB

3. GPU: NVIDIA GTX 580 Ti or similar ATI

4. Hard Disk Space: 30 GB free HDD

5. Sound Card: DirectX 11

6. OS: Windows 7 or 8 SP 1

Also, there is a scope for the users run games according to its system specifications and to adjust the game graphics to the level he/she enjoys. GTA V introduces a whole new world of gaming and fun. GTA V has already been released for PS 3 and Xbox 360.

Enjoy Gaming, Cheers!

GTA 5 Online: New Jetpack DLC Info Leaks via 1.13 Update, Turbo Boost for Motorcyles and Lifting Lambo Doors Trick

A discerning GTA 5 gamer, DomisLive, has just posted a YouTube video depicting the Jetpack DLC details via leaked game files in the 1.13 update.

Recently, the renowned GTA 5 tipster, Chrome, had revealed details of the Jetpack DLC via game code found in the 1.12 update files. Now the tipster explains that Rockstar has added more information about the upcoming Jetpack DLC in its game code related to the 1.13 update.

Check out the screenshot in the video below that depicts the leaked game code pertaining to Jetpack DLC in 1.13 update files. There is a reference to "jetpack_/hover" in the game code, besides another reference to "jetpack flight".

Both these references are in line with earlier rumours suggesting the release of Jetpack DLC as part of the forthcoming GTA Online title updates. It is not yet clear if the DLC would be part of the spring updates or will be released separately by Rockstar.

Do you think the Jetpack DLC will be coming to GTA 5 Online? Please leave your comments below.

How to Get Turbo Boost on Dinka Thrust and Lift Lambo Doors

DomisLive has also revealed some useful tips and tricks in his garage showdown detailing Turbo boost for motorcycles and how to lift Lambo doors, via a YouTube video.

Let your doors up on the car and to leave them open just double tap "Y" and step backwards as you get out of the car and move away from the doors.

This nifty little trick should come in handy for car showcasing and taking some cool pictures of your car.

The tipster further notes that the Dinka Thrust is the second fastest vehicle on land in GTA 5, following the super car Zentarno.

Do a wheelie on your Dinka Thrust and then you will experience extreme bursts of speed boosts (see the video) as you overtake speeding cars or other vehicles with ease.

The tipster concludes that a boosted Dinka Thrust can easily outperform a Bugatti Veyron in a single lap race. That's quite an unbelievable feat, but one glance at the video should put all your doubts to rest.

GTA 5 PS4 and Xbox One Release Date Hinted by Rockstar, Awaits E3 2014 Announcement; Online Heists to Debut in Spring?

GTA 5 release date may arrive on PS4 and Xbox One before March 2015, according to Rockstar's tip that the company is working on an unnamed game for the new generation consoles.
The PC version of the 2013 title, on the other hand, has been rumored for a March 15, 2015 release date by an online retailer.

"Rockstar Games is hard at work on their upcoming lineup, and we’re excited about what they have in store for the new generation of systems this fiscal year,” Strauss Zelnick, Take Two Interactive CEO, said in an earnings call with investors and analysts.
Grand Theft Auto 5 made a successful debut on PS3 and Xbox 360 in fall 2013, making a record revenue of $2.35 billion for Rockstar's 2014 fiscal year.

Just last month, Romanian retailer Altex listed the GTA PC version with a release date of March 15, 2015, and PS4 and Xbox One versions as June 15, 2015.

However, gaming analyst Michael Pachter is rather optimistic that GTA 5 PC version is expected to roll out within 2014.
"Well, the PC version, you know, I think is a very easy port. So I am certain that's coming out, and I would bet anything that it comes out this year. Xbox One and PS4 versions, not so fast, because to port from 360 to One is probably very hard. If you look at Titanfall, for example, it went the other way," the managing director of Equity Research at Wedbush Securities told Gaming Bolt in an interview.

"So, I don't even know if it's possible, or feasible. I think they might need to redo the code, which might take them a long time, a year or more, and that's if they spend their time and attention on that, and from everything I can tell, Rockstar's busy working on GTA Online. So I would say PC version this year, most likely. Xbox One and PS4, this year? Probably not."

As for the much-anticipated GTA 5 Online heists update, Rockstar reportedly pointed to a spring release date, according to the Epoch Times.
While the report is yet to be proven, the company did unleash another GTA Online update in the form of the High Life pack this weekend to occupy gamers for the time being.

"Coming next week on Tuesday May 13th, it's time to expand your foothold in Los Santos with The High Life Update for Grand Theft Auto Online, which features new high-end apartments, multi-property ownership, four new vehicles, the powerful Bullpup Rifle and more," Rockstar states.

"This automatic update to GTA Online adds five new options to the Los Santos real estate market at prime locations like Eclipse Towers, Richards Majestic and others, all featuring the latest new interior design. With multi-property ownership, you'll also now be able to own two distinct properties simultaneously."

E3 2014 in June is a possible platform for Rockstar to spill more juicy updates and release news on the multiplayer game.
While Rockstar generally does not attend this event, Sony is rumored to be announcing the GTA 5 release on PS4, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

PS4 & Xbox One GTA 5 Release Possible As Rockstar Shares Plans

We could see a PS4 or Xbox One GTA 5 release come before March 2015, as Rockstar confirmed that the company is working on a game for the new generation consoles in an earnings call with investors and analysts.

The GTA 5 release, and the GTA Online component which keeps the cash rolling, helped Rockstar pull in a record $2.35 billion in revenue for their 2014 fiscal year, and this continual flow of cash could help convince the company to deliver a PS4 or Xbox One GTA 5 release so that gamers can keep playing.

GTA 5 arrived in the fall of 2013, smashing sales records, and satisfying the demand for a beautiful open world game just weeks ahead of the PS4 and Xbox One release dates. Despite arriving at almost the same time there was no Xbox One or PS4 GTA 5 release in 2013, but with continual updates and additional GTA Online features Rockstar may be prepared to deliver a new version.

The Xbox One and PS4 are just about six months old and sales are still small compared to the number of PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles installed, so it makes sense that there is still no Xbox GTA 5 or PS4 GTA 5 option on the market. Even though Microsoft and Sony make the earlier consoles there is no backward compatibility so gamers need to keep the old console and keep it connected to a TV in order to play.

If Rockstar does offer an Xbox One GTA 5 release it could drive additional sales of the games, as users will not likely get a free upgrade, especially if this updated GTA 5 requires a year-and-a-half of work. Watch Dogs delivers a new open world gaming experience to the Xbox One and PS4 on May 27th, which could draw some attention away from GTA 5.

During an earnings call with investors Strauss Zelnick, Take Two Interactive CEO, confirmed the company is working on a game for the Xbox One and the PS4 that will arrive before the end of March 2015. Zelnick said, ”Rockstar Games is hard at work on their upcoming lineup, and we’re excited about what they have in store for the new generation of systems this fiscal year,”This fiscal year ends on March 31, 2015.

Overall this is a small confirmation, but it hints at the timing of the first Rockstar game for PS4 and Xbox One. It is possible that the game will come earlier than this date, and a fall release in time for the holiday shopping season is always a possibility. There is no mention of a PC GTA 5 release at this time, but recent reports and rumors suggest the company will deliver this near the Xbox One or PS4 release date.

The E3 2014 conference kicks off in June where Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and a collection of other companies will talk about new games coming this year and in 2015. Rockstar is not normally at this event, but a rumor suggests Sony could announce the PS4 GTA 5 release on stage. It’s not clear how that announcement would factor into an Xbox One version, but Sony is working hard to lock in timed exclusives on games to tempt gamers to go PS4 when they upgrade.

An Xbox One price drop this month puts the price of the Xbox One at $399, the same as the PS4. This new cheaper Xbox One comes without a Kinect, but for users that simply want to play games like GTA and Watch Dogs this may not be a big deal. A cheaper Xbox One could spell trouble for Sony, which could lead to a big push to gain a timed GTA 5 exclusive for the PS4.

The biggest reason that this could be a PS4 or Xbox One GTA 5 release is the speed at which this will happen. It is possible that Rockstar has been hard at work on another game for the Xbox One and PS4, but if the release arrives within a year or so of the original GTA 5, it would make more sense to see a port rather than a brand new game for the Xbox One and PS4.

Rockstar just pushed out a GTA 5 update earlier this week that delivers the ability to buy more real estate, additional vehicles and new player created experiences. The High Life update also includes new weapons and cloths for characters.

GTA 5 is an open world game where players can complete missions and roam the city to explore areas to discover secrets and easter eggs. In addition to completing the missions there are many small games to play. The GTA Online component is also full of missions and jobs that gamers can team up on, and even create. The online component is an area that gamers can play over and over again, and with $66 million in in-app purchasesearned by February expect to see Rockstar look for a way to bring more gamers to GTA Online.

Rockstar Will Release a Game for the Xbox One and PS4 This Year

Take-Two has announced it will release a new game from Rockstar this financial year for Xbox One and PS4

That means a new Rockstar title will be out before March 2015.

Little else was announced by the firm, and when pressed on if Rockstar will be at E3, the company simply responded: "Rockstar has not announced if it will be at E3."

What this game could be is up for eager speculation. GTA V on next-gen machines is a safe option, but if it's a completely new title then the long-rumoured Red Dead Redemption sequel is likely.

Other games that continue to get referenced to MCV includes Bully 2 and the long-delayed PlayStation exclusive, The Agent.

Hopefully we will know more come next month.

The news follows a successful financial year for Take-Two.

Take-Two expects Rockstar games to account for 45 per cent of its revenue over the next financial year. That will include catalogue sales of GTA V and GTA Online revenue.

GTA 5 Online: Fastest Way to Become a Billionaire with Heists Missions

GTA 5 has undoubtedly been the top-selling game from Rockstar, owing to its open world gameplay with tons of hidden secrets, easter eggs and innumerable money glitches waiting to be unearthed within the game.

With more and more gamers finding it hard to earn money in GTA 5 Online, it is only imperative that some discerning gamer will eventually unearth new ways of making tons of money or flirt with the idea of becoming a quick billionaire.

With the intent of helping newbies and strugglers who are still trying to explore possible ways of earning big money without cheats, Gamer Headlines has posted a complete walkthrough for the six Heists missions in GTA 5.

It must be noted that the cash reward for each of these Heists missions will be inevitably based on the player's performance as well as the team chosen for the task.

This walkthrough is meant for those who failed to complete the Heists missions and those who are eager to find out the right way to complete each of these missions in order to secure maximum returns or payouts and become a quick billionaire.

The Jewel Store Job

As mentioned earlier, it is important to choose your team members for the Heist mission carefully if you want to save money during the hire process.

For this mission, it is advisable to choose Option B which will allow you to hire Packie McReary as the gunman. It seems he is a better bet than a slightly expensive Gustavo Mota and can be unlocked via a side-mission.

Tip: Avoid hiring Norm Richards until the last heist mission, where you will need him the most.

In case you choose Option A, then you need to hire Eddie Toh as your driver. The catch here is this guy fetches you the highest possible payout (which will be split as $5m for Michael and about $300K for Franklin) for doing the heist.

The Paleto Score

The Paleto Score is the fourth heist in GTA 5 which will fetch you about $8m on completing the mission. As was the case with the first heist mission, The Jewel Store Job, Packie McReary is your best bet for this one too.

Alternatively, you can opt for Chef who is also a tad cheaper than Gustavo Mota as your hired gunman.

If Norm wasn't used in the first heist, he would be an ideal choice along with Daryl Johns for this mission. The catch here is you can snatch their share of money as they will die while completing the mission.

The Bureau Raid

The best way to finish this mission is by getting through the roof with Option B.

You need to hire either Karim Denz or Talina Martinez (unlocked via side mission) as your driver to complete this mission easily; since both can help you evade the police and bail you out using their secure access to an ambulance.

Norm Richards could serve as your gunman while Rickie Lukens plays as your hacker.

Tip: Option A will fetch you better monetary returns, but Norm Richards will get killed.

The Merryweather Heist

You will not be able to gain any monetary benefits with this Heist mission, as it is completely a story-driven mission. However, you will enjoy the flexibility of hiring the crew members you desire.

The Blitz Play

Like the Merryweather, this heist is also story-driven and will not fetch you any monetary rewards for completing the mission; but will unlock contacts for additional side missions.

The Big Score

If you want to make big money at the expense of risking your crew members' lives, then choose Option B which will fetch you $41.7m on successful completion of the mission.

On the contrary, choosing Option A is easier and safer, but it will fetch you just $34.9m.

Regardless of the option you chose, Karim Denz and Taliana Martinez will be your viable options as drivers.

Hire Chef as your first gunman and Norm Richards or Daryl Johns as your second gunman, while your best bet as hacker would be Rickie Lukens (if you have chosen Option A).

At the end of the final Heist mission you should be a rich millionaire if not a billionaire with net earnings of $201,600,000.

GTA 5 Online: Rockstar Adds Four New Verified Jobs via #CaptureWeekend Selections

Rockstar has just announced four new Verified Jobs for GTA 5 Online via #CaptureWeekend selections including Contend: Corrupt Cops, GTA: That's My Rhino, GTA: Payback Time and Contend: Adventure Team.

The game developer has selected the best of the lot from a series of Capture Job creations submitted by fans, following its release of Capture Creator Update for GTA Online.

The chosen creators will each receive an in-game cash award worth GTA$1m along with an exclusive in-game CAPTURE licence plate and a chance to participate in future Rockstar Games live stream broadcast involving play through and discussions about content creation.

According to Rockstar Newswire, here are the four new Rockstar Verified Jobs that will be playable across both Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms:

Contend: Corrupt Cops

Contend: Corrupt Cops puts you in a race across the banks of Procopio Beach in Paleto Bay as you take on the Ballas gang. Your primary objective is to beat the rival police division in your bid to confiscate goods from the Ballas gang as evidence.

Just beware of the purple-clad gangsters wielding razor-sharp knives, as you try to mow them down with your vehicle jumps off the ramps while you collect bags in this mission. Don't take the risk of stopping by for a glimpse of the scenic beauty as Ballas will quickly make you forget your life with their deadly blades.

GTA: That's My Rhino

Two rival groups of pilots flying P-996 Lazers will face off over the Alamo Sea in their hot pursuit of a Rhino Tank, which is well-guarded by a group of mercenaries armed with anti-aircraft weapons.

You can pursue the Tank either by flying your plane from Grapeseed in the North or via Grand Senora Desert in the south.

GTA: Payback Time

Payback Time puts you through a head-to-head bloodbath with AI characters that are guarding the waterways of the Vespucci Canals filled with bounties. Be prepared for surprise ambush from rival gangs as you pedal your BMX to the location and try securing one of your prized vehicles from your enemy.

Contend: Adventure Team

True to its name, this Capture job offers a wide array of vehicle options to choose from, as you prepare for the epic relay to the top of Mt. Chiliad. On your way back, you need to make a quick jump with a parachute to get down quickly to the Capture point.

Alternatively, you may employ a Maverick helicopter for effortless return trips from the top of Mt Chiliad. However, the freefall jump from the mountain is the fastest way down as reported by the game developer.

Meanwhile, Rockstar has acknowledged that it is currently investigating the issue with the unavailability of game services such as accessing jobs in GTA online and errors related to Social Club site.

One of the most common error messages that a GTA Online user might encounter reads as follows: "The Rockstar game services are unavailable right now. Please try again later."

Rockstar has assured its loyal fans that the GTA Online Support page will be periodically updated with latest developments and fixes for the ensuing issues with GTA Online game services.

Here is what Rockstar stated in the comment section of Newswire website:

"We are currently investigating issues with players receiving "The Rockstar game services are unavailable right now. Please try again later." messages when accessing jobs in GTA Online, as well as errors on the Social Club site.

"Please stay tuned to our GTA Online Support page for the latest status updates at: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200426246."

GTA 5 Online High Life Update Details Out: Rockstar Says New Apartments and Multiple Garages Can be Owned

Rockstar has now clarified some details on the upcoming High Life Update for GTA Online, according to a report by CinemaBlend.

This new information helps clear up certain misconceptions that players had when the developer previously announced that it would give gamers "new high-end apartment options." Gamers were a bit confused as it wasn't clear whether Rockstar would add new apartments to the game.

A member of the developer's team has now clarified on what Rockstar actually meant. This information came on the Rockstar Support Forum (via Reddit).

"These are brand new apartments, so we are talking about new interior as well. I don't want to spoil everything for you, though, so stay tuned for the update!"

Players will be able to own two properties after the update, with each property having its own garage. This means that when you ring your mechanic for a delivery, he is going to ask you to pick a garage before choosing vehicles.

"You will be able to drive your vehicles from one garage into your second garage," Rockstar said in a different support thread. "If you drive them in from your first garage to the second in a particular order, they will be rearranged in that order in the garage."

Apart from this, the High Life update will also bring along a new string of cars, according to CinemaBlend. The list includes the Pegassi Zentorno sportscar and the Dinka Thrust motorcycle. Expect new clothes and the loveable Bullpup Rifle. Rockstar is also filling the game up with some new jobs.

There is no specific release date for the update. All we can do is wait as the developer has confirmed that the game will be arriving this spring.

GTA 5 for PC, PS4 & Xbox One: Is Rockstar Games Waiting Until 2015 to Release New Grand Theft Auto V Games?

Rockstar Games has never announced that Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Release date rumors about the games keep coming, however, and they're getting specific.
Recently, online retailer Altex added Grand Theft Auto V for PC to its website. The game is priced at 179.90 LEI.The more interesting part of the Altex news is that the Romanian website includes their own unique release date: March 15, 2015. This is one of the chronologically latest speculated PC release dates to arise.
Could Rockstar Games really make gamers wait almost another whole year before making the game available? Another source says no. Czech retailer SuperGamer also has listings for Grand Theft Auto V for PC, as well as PS4 and Xbox One. It claims the games will be available starting June 13 of this year. Gamers say the rumor seems at least somewhat possible as the date is a Friday, a popular day for developers to release games.
So just how reputable is this Altex? According to GotGame, Altex has accurately posted listings for unannounced games in the past that did eventually come into fruition.

"The most recent one was the Jackdaw edition of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which was displayed on their website before Ubisoft revealed it officially," GotGame reported.
Altex also has listings for Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 and Xbox One. The website gives these games an even later release date: June 15, 2015. The next-genconsole games are priced at 299.90 LEI.
Various other retailers have made their own listings for new Grand Theft Auto V games as well. Eurogamer Portugal reported that Worten is taking pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 and is even "accepting cash," according to Segment Next. On March 9, GameStop put up a listing for Grand Theft Auto V PC but quickly took it down, according to Motoring Crunch. In addition, GK4.me, a German website, is selling Steam keys for a PC version, and gamers have also found hope in Amazon, whose Germany store has a listing for Grand Theft Auto V PC and whose French site used to have the same. Amazon Germany lists Grand Theft Auto V PC at 60 euros and says it is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista but does not list minimum system requirements. Lokiolr, a Twitter user who describes himself as "Co-founder of the Voice Of Geeks Network Host of Orange Lounge Radio XBOX," says gamers should "Expect an E3 announcement from [Rockstar Games] this year. Likely GTA V on nextgen."

‘GTA 5’ reveals hot fix patch for ‘GTA Online’ money freezing exploit

‘GTA 5’ reveals hot fix patch for ‘GTA Online’ money freezing exploit

Rockstar North has implemented a fix in regards to a new money exploit that was recently discovered for “GTA Online.” According to a report from Cinema Blend on April 22, the development team decided to disable the creator beta option from the menu of the “GTA 5” multiplayer mode in order to implement a server-side patch. The content creation mode has since gone back online.

The money freezing exploit give players the ability to buy anything in “GTA Online” without having to spend any in-game cash. The steps involve the creation of a customized Deathmatch jobs using the aforesaid content creator, which was added in a recent title update. However, the glitch should no longer work after the hot fix patch was implemented for “GTA 5.” You can find a screen showcasing one of the user-created jobs from theRockstar Games Twitter page with the photo added to the top of this article.

Rockstar North has not yet revealed any possible punishment for “GTA 5” players who took advantage of the exploit. In the past, the development team has removed cash from player’s bank accounts. A few users have been placed in cheater pools while some were permanently banned from “GTA Online.” You can find the official statement in regards to the temporary shut down of the content creator from the official Rockstar Support page below:

Access to the GTA Online Creator has been temporarily disabled to stop the spread of a new exploit. If you would like to receive an automatic email notification as soon as there is more information about when the Creator will be available, please log into the Support Site and click Subscribe at the top of this page. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to make the Creator available again as soon as possible.

The development team has been busy trying to keep up with the latest exploits found in “GTA 5” and “GTA Online.” In the past, Rockstar North had to deal with a hack that changes the payouts of robberies along with numerous glitches that can duplicate vehicles. The company is reportedly earning a lot of money from the micro-transaction DLC cards, which converts real money into in-game currency. Every money glitch found can literally hurt the bottom line of Rockstar Games if players start to abuse it.

The publisher has already made a ton of money off of “GTA 5” as the video game has sold over 32.5 million units is just seven months of release. The potential ports to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms are also heavily rumored, which should further increase the amount of “GTA Online” players. For now, Rockstar North is currently planning to update the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the open-world action-adventure video game with new DLC packs for both of the single-player campaign and online multiplayer modes of “GTA 5.”

GTA 5: Reasons for Delaying 1.13 Update and Most Likely Release Dates for High-Life and Heists DLCs

Contrary to fan expectations, Rockstar has further delayed the release of the 1.13 update and Heists DLC for GTA 5 Online, following widespread speculation that the next title update would arrive on 22 April.

Discerning GTA 5 tipster, Granty, has once again shed some light on the impending release of 1.13 update and Heists DLC by explaining the reasons for the delay and the most likely release date for the same.

Why Rockstar Delayed the Release of 1.13 Update?

Here are some strong reasons why Rockstar has delayed the release of 1.13 update for GTA 5 Online:
Rockstar has not updated the Newswire section for about five days, while history suggestes the game developer often updates its official website within 3 days maximum.
This unusual gap in the timeline hints that Rockstar is clearly planning the release ofHigh-Life DLC and/or Heists DLC very soon.
With 1.12 update mostly featuring bug-fixes and improvements to the game, the 1.13 update is likely to include both the Heists and High-Life DLCs as most money glitches and RP glitches are already patched up by Rockstar.
The game breaking glitch with the Content Creator tool in GTA Online that allowed gamers to buy anything for free via 'Freeze Money' exploit has also been hot-fixed by the game developer just a couple of days ago. This is another strong reason why the highly-anticipated 1.13 update could not be released in time for GTA Online.

When Will the 1.13 Update Actually Come Out?

It is likely that Rockstar will be fixing more such glitches in the 1.13 update, which is most likely to release on 29 April as it falls on a Tuesday (a favourite day for Rockstar to release its big game title updates and DLC releases).

In the worst case, expect the 1.13 update along with Heists DLC content for GTA Online to be released on 6 May, which is exactly two weeks after the initial speculated release date of 22 April.

The tipster concludes that he is "pretty sure" about Rockstar releasing the 1.13 update on or before 6 May as it gives developers ample time to fix all the glitches and lay the platform for the next major title update in the form of said DLCs for GTA Online.

‘GTA 5’ PC release date gap compared to ‘GTA 4’

‘GTA 5’ PC release date gap compared to ‘GTA 4’

The release date gap between the potential PC versions and original console iterations of “GTA 5” has been compared to “GTA 4.” According to a report fromGaming Bolt on April 21, the fifth main installment of the “Grand Theft Auto” series has been available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for more than 216 days. As a result, Rockstar North is expected to take the longest time ever in the series to port the video game to the PC.

“GTA 4” took approximately the same amount of days as it came out for the PC on Dec. 2, 2008. The PS3 and Xbox 360 version were released on April 29 earlier in the same year. The fourth numbered entry of the series did not end up arriving for computer platform until 217 days after the initial console launch.

“GTA 5” on PC has not yet been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games. So it appears that the sequel should easily surpass “GTA 4” for the longest release date gap between the computer and console iterations of the series. However, several retailers are expecting that the port should be arriving to the PC, as well as the PS4 and Xbox One, in the future (perhaps as early as this summer). The new versions should look and run better when compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. The post-launch patches and DLC packs should also be included in the discs.

The development team is also planning several major updates for “GTA 5” on the two current-generation consoles. The “GTA Online” mode is expected to receive multiplayer heists, which allow players to team up to take on comples robberies, later this spring. In the same launch window, Rockstar North will be implementing the “High Life Update,” adding new apartments, cars, weapons and more. You can find a screens showing off some of the upcoming DLC vehicles from the official Rockstar Games Twitter account with the image attached to the top of this article.

“GTA 5” has already racked up 32.5 million copies sold on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles since it was made available on Sept. 17, 2013. The open-world action-adventure video game appears to push both current-generation consoles to the limits as it suffered from some frame rate slowdowns. The potential PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions should resolve these issues due to the extra horsepower.

[GS]GTA 5 jetpacks could soon be a reality

GTA 5 jetpacks could soon be a reality

Rockstar may be planning to introduce a new way of getting around in Grand Theft Auto V, if newly discovered references in the game's code are any indication.

Posting on the Se7enSins forums, user Chr0m3 x MoDz revealed the existence of strings of text in the game's code that mention a jetpack, something which is not a part of GTA V as it exists today. While some might assume these are outdated references to something that was scrapped during development, the post indicates these references did not exist prior to the 1.12 update released earlier this month.

Speculation suggests a jetpack could be included as part of a future DLC release or expansion pack. It would not be the first time players were able to make use of a jetpack in the GTA series--San Andreasplayers might remember getting their hands on one that allowed them to fly around and use a handful of weapons back in 2004.

Since its launch last year, Rockstar has continued to update Grand Theft Auto V's online component, Grand Theft Auto Online, to iron out problems and introduce new content. The developer announced earlier this month that heists would finally be coming to GTA Online sometime this spring. We also knowdownloadable content expanding the story of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor--the game's three protagonist--is on the way this year, though specific details have yet to be announced.

Grand Theft Auto V is currently only available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Fans have beenpetitioning for a PC release, but Rockstar has yet to officially announce a version of the game for any additional platforms.
